Introduction

Liberal Arts is a Bachelor program taught at Niagara University, USA. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time options.

Niagara University’s Liberal Arts B.A. offers an interdisciplinary major that students design around their own interests or career goals. Students develop independent, critical thinking by learning to understand interconnections between academic disciplines, synthesize diverse types of knowledge to solve problems, and communicate effectively across disciplinary areas.

Students work closely with a liberal arts adviser, faculty from relevant disciplines, and the Office of Career Services. They select courses connected to a core problem, topic, or theme that cuts across traditional disciplinary boundaries, and this work culminates in a Senior Seminar research project centered on the student’s interests. Students can either create their own program of study or follow model majors, including pre-law, pre-med, environmental studies, applied fine arts, and writing studies.
