This master's programme focuses on business analytics methods, including data analytics, modelling, simulation, and multiple-criteria decision-making and evaluation methods. You study their practical use on real-world data in a business or industry context, using software and tools that are standard in the industry.

The programme also covers quantitative and statistical analysis, machine learning, multivariate testing, predictive modelling, and multiple-criteria evaluation and decision support. Lappeenranta-Lahti University of Technology LUT says graduates can take on interesting positions in business and industry.

As a graduate, you are expected to analyse the theories and methods in business analytics critically, choose suitable methods for practice, draw logical conclusions, and make recommendations in strategic decision-making situations.
