Information and Communication Technology, Bachelor and Master of Science in Technology

The Information and Communication Technology programme at the University of Turku leads to a Bachelor of Science in Technology and a Master of Science in Technology. It covers new technologies, programming, software engineering, embedded systems, electronic systems, microprocessors, operating systems, network technologies, cyber security technology and artificial intelligence systems. The programme also gives students the chance to specialise in data analytics, software engineering, cyber security, or robotics and autonomous systems in their master's studies.

The degree lasts five years and is taught in English through contact teaching. Students can include study modules from the eight faculties of the University of Turku and can choose an elective minor subject in entrepreneurship. The degrees also focus on working life skills.

University of Turku says the programme prepares students to use current and future technologies in multidisciplinary work communities and meets the needs of industry.
