About this program

This Master of Social Sciences programme at LUT focuses on global communications in relation to climate change, sustainability and the green transition. It covers how to critically analyse and plan communications, and how to detect and address disinformation in global and local contexts. It also addresses soft power, AI and new media technologies, and their effects on societies, organisations and individuals.

LUT says the programme helps students understand the role of global communications in the sustainable renewal of businesses and society. The teaching language is English, and the programme is implemented as contact teaching over two years.

The programme is intended for applicants with a bachelor's degree completed outside Finland or in Finland, as stated in the application rounds listed by LUT.
