About this program

The Bachelor's Programme in Design and Media is a multidisciplinary programme in art, media and technology. Aalto University says students build an identity as creative professionals and study design in relation to users, business, society and the environment.

The three-year bachelor’s programme has 180 ECTS credits. The first two years follow a streamlined curriculum. In the third year, students profile themselves and complete their bachelor’s thesis and minor studies. Teaching combines design work, artistic experimentation, lectures, seminars, workshops, group projects, self-studies and critiques.
