Additive Manufacturing for Full Flexibility (EIT), Master of Science (Technology)

Additive Manufacturing for Full Flexibility is an international double degree programme supported by EIT Manufacturing. It combines manufacturing science, mechanical design and production management. The programme includes a minor in Innovation and Entrepreneurship.

The programme lasts two years and uses contact teaching. It is a double degree programme, so students study at two European universities in two different countries. In the first year, students complete 40-50 ECTS of technical courses and 10-20 ECTS of Innovation and Entrepreneurship courses. In the second year, studies consist of 10-20 ECTS of technical courses, 10-20 ECTS of Innovation and Entrepreneurship courses and a 30 ECTS master's thesis.

At Aalto University, students can study the physics of additive manufacturing processes, mechanical design for more customised products and services, and production management for smaller lot production. The programme awards two degrees and an EIT Label Certificate.
