Master's Degree Programme in Materials Engineering, Master of Science (Technology)

Master’s Degree Programme in Materials Engineering offers three specialisation tracks. The Health Technology Materials track focuses on biomaterials for health technology applications. The Materials of Energy Technology track focuses on energy materials. The Modern Industrial Materials track focuses on selecting and characterising materials for advanced industrial applications.

The programme is taught in English. It has a planned duration of two years and uses contact teaching and independent learning.

University of Turku charges tuition fees from students who are citizens of countries outside the EU, EEA or Switzerland, with some residence permit exceptions. The tuition fee is 12,000 euros per academic year. University of Turku says there are no scholarships covering the first year, but students who meet the requirements can receive a 50% scholarship for the next study year based on studies completed at the university.
