Jamk University of Applied Sciences’ Master of Engineering in Full Stack Software Development covers modern software development tools and methods, popular application frameworks, user experience, secured software solutions, and both back-end and front-end development. The studies include the full software development lifecycle, from requirements management and service design to continuous deployment and maintenance, using agile methods and a modern tool chain.
The programme is 60 ECTS credits and is planned as a 2-year degree. It is delivered in blended teaching with contact teaching. Students study independently for part of the time and meet their group during contact teaching days 2-3 times a semester. Some contact lessons take place at Jamk in Jyväskylä, Finland.
Jamk says the degree programme does not include optional study paths. With the graduate thesis and optional studies, students can concentrate on a certain technology in cyber security. Applicants need two years of relevant work experience in the field after graduating.
