In this chemical engineering master's programme, you specialise in biorefining and related industries in the circular economy. You study biorefineries, the technologies and materials they use, and their opportunities for new competences, solutions and critical assessments.
You learn about the production of materials and how to design and develop processes based on modern biorefining technologies. Teaching is planned in cooperation with industry and uses recent developments and new opportunities in the educational environment.
During the programme, you acquire knowledge of modern and future biorefining technology, products and raw materials, skills in developing sustainable solutions and technologies, competence in technologies integrated into biorefineries such as wastewater treatment, and a professional network through teamwork in assignments.
