Master of Occupational Therapy

The Master of Occupational Therapy at Manipal University is a 2-year program organized into 4 semesters. It includes clinical exposure through classroom teaching, clinical teaching, practical teaching, and clinical case discussion. The course offers specializations: Developmental Disabilities, Hand and Musculoskeletal Conditions, Neurorehabilitation, Mental Health and Psychosocial Rehabilitation, and Ageing Adult.

Teaching and learning link to clinical assessment, with sessional exams and clinical exams. Assessment includes three sessional exams, end of posting clinical exams, internal assessments, university written exams, university practical exams, and completion of an individual dissertation project. To pass, a student needs 50% marks in each theory and practical exam, and minimum attendance of 90% is required to appear in the university exam. On passing all subjects for the year, the student promotes to the next year.
