Master of Arts Inmonitoring and Evaluation

The Master of Arts in Monitoring and Evaluation program focuses on building demand-driven skills to support social-economic development projects. It aims to promote evaluation practices based in African contexts and value systems through a Pan-African approach. The course covers themes such as research methods, project management, leadership, ethics, communication, gender issues, systems evaluation, entrepreneurship, and globalization of monitoring and evaluation. The program is delivered over two academic years through ANU Online. It includes a project component on monitoring and evaluation, and engages with development goals such as the SDGs, Kenya Vision, Africa Vision, and county action plans. This program suits students seeking to enhance their qualifications and capacity in the monitoring and evaluation field, focusing on ethical practices and transforming development projects.

2nd class Honours Upper Division or GPA of 2.7, or 2nd class Honours Lower Division or GPA of 2.5 with at least 2 years of relevant work experience.
