The Diploma in Healthcare Management at Murni Nursing College is a three-year diploma that covers health care management needs in the health care industry. The programme is designed to develop knowledge in hospital administration, health science, and hospital technology, along with personal skills and business leadership skills for managing health services and planning goals and objectives.
The diploma is built over four major areas: the Management Process, Health Policy and Planning, Behavioural Science/Allied Science, and Basic Science. It includes a capstone applied practicum (clinical placement) during the last semester, allowing trainees to apply knowledge in a community and hospital administrative setting. The course includes modules such as Introduction To Healthcare Management, Healthcare Information Management Systems, Research Methodology, and Practical Training In Health Industry.
