Graduate Diploma in Accounting Gda

The Graduate Diploma in Accounting at Asia e University (GDA) gives foundation knowledge for a career path in accounting and finance using broad-based business studies. It prepares graduates to apply for certifications from various professional accounting bodies and to work in auditing firms, banking sectors, consultation agencies, or government agencies. Learning outcomes include preparing financial statements in line with approved accounting standards and providing financial and non-financial information for organisational decisions.

The programme uses interactive learning activities, assignments, and online discussion. Students access myPLS and library resources, including around 190,000 e-books, 95,000 e-journals, and 2.4 million e-theses titles. Assessment includes assignments and a final exam. The structure includes core subjects, electives, and an industrial training component, with most subjects described as project-based learning with practical components.

DIRECT ENTRY

• A pass in Sijil Tinggi Pelajaran Malaysia (STPM) with a minimum GPA 2.0 in any 2 subjects or equivalent; or
• A Diploma with a minimum GPA 2.0 or equivalent
• 2 years of work experience.
• A Graduate Certificate in the relevant field
• ELCR Band (International Students Only): Minimum score of 5.5 for IELTS, 550 for TOEFL OR its equivalent

APEL ENTRY

• At least 21 years of age in the year of application
• Possess relevant working experience.
