University of Birmingham is offering up to ten fully funded scholarships for overseas (Non-EU) students. Scholarships are awarded each year to undertake doctoral research programme across all engineering and physical science disciplines. Scholarships are awarded for a period of 3.5 years and are expected to begin in September of the first year of the award (but the start date is negotiable). - The College of Engineering and Physical Sciences offer a number of fully funded Postgraduate Elite Scholarships available to international (non-EU) applicants intending to undertake PhD research at the University. Up to ten Scholarships are offered each year across all engineering and physical science disciplines. The Scholarships are awarded for a period of 3.5 years and are expected to begin in September of the first year of the award (but the start date is negotiable). Award holders will typically graduate at or near the top of their cohort in internationally leading universities. Many will hold national or international prizes for their work as undergraduates.

- The outcome will be released by the beginning of February each year and applications and paperwork will need to be submitted to each school by the end of December.
