About this program

The Master in Life Sciences – Chemical Engineering (Master of Science in Life Sciences) is an interdisciplinary programme that combines (bio-)chemistry, pharmaceutical science, and environmental technology with process engineering, safety technology, and sustainability. You select modules according to your interests, including reaction technology and pharmaceutical production, plus data analysis and economics.

Teaching language is English. Learning is available onsite and online, with study mode offered as full-time or part-time/work-study. The programme requires earning a total of 50 ECTS credits (17 modules worth 3 ECTS credits each), and includes an eight-month thesis at an industry partner or in the Process Technology Centre. Elective modules include Biotechnology, Analytical Chemistry, Organic and Supramolecular Chemistry, and Environmental Technologies.
