The Master of Science in Engineering (MSE), Profile Civil Engineering, builds expertise in complex civil engineering issues. You deepen your knowledge in a chosen core discipline, including structural engineering, geotechnical engineering, hydraulic engineering and water management, or transportation planning and traffic systems.
The programme uses 90 ECTS credits and is split into core modules (30 ECTS credits), specialisation (30 ECTS credits), and a master’s thesis (30 ECTS credits). You can study onsite in full-time mode over three semesters or part-time/work-study over five semesters, with the option to work alongside your studies at an engineering firm or the Institute of Civil Engineering.
It prepares you for leadership roles in construction companies and engineering offices, and focuses on project competence, including learning to analyse, plan, and manage complex tasks independently.
