Graduate Certificate in Education Non Qts

The University of Cumbria’s Postgraduate Certificate in Education (non-QTS) is a PGCE delivered online as distance learning. Students study two Masters Level modules: Raising the Achievement of Learners and Quality Teaching in Educational Settings, building knowledge of learning and teaching theories and reflecting on how to apply them in an educational setting.

The programme is part-time and takes 1 Year. It uses fully online delivery supported through Blackboard (a virtual learning environment), including videos, images, podcasts, webinars, and discussion forums. Students are supported by a Module leader and a personal tutor, and should expect to study online for at least 4 hours per week.

First, 2:1 or 2:2 Undergraduate degree.

Applicants must currently be working in, or have access to, an educational setting for the duration of the course.
