Maritime Education and Training MSc

The MSc Maritime Education and Training at Southampton Solent University is designed for maritime educators who want to enhance their professional practice. Students study core modules including Maritime Education: Principles and Practice and The Global Legal Framework of Maritime Education, and complete a Dissertation focused on an area of maritime education.

This is a distance learning programme delivered through Solent Online Learning (SOL). Materials and structured content are available on SOL, with directed learning accessible 24/7 to support preparation for collaborative learning sessions held via Teams. The taught provision includes online modules made up of bite size chunks of learning, with deeper learning built through subjects and credits across levels.
