The Bachelor of Banking and Finance Special Honours (BBFSHZ) is a one-year programme taught over two semesters. It is designed for students holding general degrees in banking and finance, with a banking and finance component strongly represented in their first degree.
The curriculum includes eight examinable courses and a supervised research and innovation project. Students study Public Finance, International Finance, Business Research Methods, Derivatives Securities, Marketing of Financial Services, International Banking, Risk Management, and Financial Statement Analysis, supported by a Research and Innovation Project (Proposal) and a Research and Innovation Project.
For admission to the Bachelor of Commerce in Banking and Finance (Special Honours), applicants must have a recognised Bachelor of Commerce in Banking & Finance or any other relevant degree in which banking and finance component is strongly represented. Applicants should have passed their first degree with a minimum of third class or better.
