Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting Special Honours

The Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting Special Honours at Zimbabwe Open University is an intensive specialisation programme at ZNQF Level 8. Graduates develop specialised knowledge in specific areas of accounting and build advanced analytical and problem-solving skills for complex accounting contexts. The programme also includes independent research at an advanced undergraduate level.

Programme duration runs from a minimum of 1 year (2 semesters) to a maximum of 2 years (4 semesters). The structure is built around advanced specialised modules in accounting, an independent research project, and professional development components. Total credits are 120 to 170 credits at ZNQF Level 8.

Relevant undergraduate degree in Accounting, Commerce or equivalent;
