The Master in Peace, Leadership and Governance at Africa University is a postgraduate programme delivered by the Department of Humanities & Social Sciences. It covers areas including peace and conflict, leadership, governance and regional integration, institutions of peace and security, peacekeeping and peacebuilding, applied conflict management, and research topics such as research methodology and proposal writing.
The programme is delivered full time at the Main Campus and has a duration of 2 year(s). Progression follows the University general regulations for Masters degrees, and moving from coursework to dissertation requires completion of all required courses plus a Grade Point Average of not less than 2.6. After coursework, each student completes an internship/attachment for a minimum of one semester, then submits a dissertation.
