Master of Science Degree in Analytical Chemistry Mach

The Master of Science Degree in Analytical Chemistry (MACH) at Midlands State University is a research-focused program that develops originality in applying knowledge and understanding to advance analytical chemistry through research and innovation. Students address complex issues systematically and creatively, and the programme also prepares students for further studies and research.

Students study modules across multiple areas of analytical chemistry. The programme includes Classical Analysis and Chemometrics, Analytical Atomic and Molecular Spectroscopy, Pharmaceutical and Clinical Analysis, Electrochemical Methods, Surface Analysis Methods, Separation Methods, Thermal and Radiochemical Methods, Environmental and Green Chemistry, and Laboratory Management and Research Methods. The structure culminates in a Dissertation module with project proposal, progress report, final dissertation, and oral presentations of each stage.
