The Master of Science Degree in Entrepreneurship and Innovation at Bindura University of Science Education is a knowledge-based programme focused on practical knowledge about entrepreneurship and innovation. It covers the formation and management of new ventures, working in and managing in small businesses, entrepreneurial management in small firms, and the role of government and other institutions in supporting entrepreneurship. It also addresses contemporary issues in entrepreneurship and small business research.
The programme includes teaching across Part 1 (two semesters) and Part 2. It includes modules in Innovation Management, Strategic Human Resource Management, Strategic Marketing Management, Corporate Entrepreneurship, Project Management, Strategic Management, Entrepreneurial Financing, Business Research Methods, Corporate Governance and Business Ethics, Entrepreneurship and New Business Development, Management Information Systems & E-Business, and Financial Management for Business Leaders, followed by a Dissertation.
It is designed for individuals aiming to initiate small business ventures and for those at the initial stages of a start-up who want to grow a business to maturity. It is also aimed at managers running existing businesses.
