Master of Technology Degree in Telecommunications and Wireless Systems

The Master of Technology Degree in Telecommunications and Wireless Systems at Harare Institute of Technology is designed to provide theoretical inputs and hands-on training. The degree develops design, implementation, testing, and modification skills for communication systems, with an emphasis on modern telecommunications techniques. It also includes applied research and innovation in telecommunication and wireless systems.

The program is organised as a four semester degree premised on research, innovation, and development of communications real-time solutions. It includes advanced study across areas such as Advanced Mathematical Methods, Advanced Digital Signal Processing, Digital Communication Systems, Antenna Engineering, and Applied Research Methods, along with modules including Telecommunication Network Design and Performance, Advanced Optical Communication and Networks, and Broadband Networks. Semester IV includes a Project.
