Diploma Kaunseling

Diploma Kaunseling is a Diploma program taught at International Islamic College of Penang, Malaysia. Intake: Fall, Spring. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time (2 years) options.

The Diploma Kaunseling at International Islamic College of Penang focuses on Islamic counseling alongside knowledge of Usuluddin, Syariah, Dakwah, and Islamic organization matters. Students are trained to apply values, ethics, and social skills in organizations and society. The course also aims to build communication skills, effective teamwork, and leadership, with integration of digital and numeracy skills.

Study is organized across 6 semesters (2 years). The curriculum includes required courses covering ethics and civilization, integrity and anti-corruption, foundations in Quran study, and Basic Applied Multimedia. It also includes counseling core topics such as principles and theories of counseling, counseling ethics, guidance and counseling fundamentals, individual skills process, and group counseling.

The minimum requirements for admission in Diploma Kaunseling at International Islamic College of Penang for all applicants (Domestic or International) are:

• program specific academic requirment set by International Islamic College of Penang.
• English Language OR any other language requirments as set by International Islamic College of Penang as pre-requiste for admission in Diploma Kaunseling.

Must have passed Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) or its equivalent, with at least 3 credits in any subjects and pass in Mathematics and Science; or

Must have passed Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) or its equivalent, with at least 1 full pass with NGMP 2.00 and pass in Mathematics and Science at SPM level; or

Other equivalent or relevant qualifications, experience and requirements accepted by the Senate of PPT/competent authority in Malaysia.
