Diploma Pengurusan Institusi Sosial Islam

Diploma Pengurusan Institusi Sosial Islam is a Diploma program taught at International Islamic College of Penang, Malaysia. Intake: Fall, Spring. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time (2 years) options.

The Diploma in Management of Islamic Social Institutions covers management of Islamic social institutions such as zakat, waqaf, mosques, Islamic NGOs, Islamic cooperatives, and Islamic tourism organizations. You study ethics and integrity through courses like Penghayatan Etika Dan Peradaban, Integriti Dan Anti Rasuah, and Asas Pengajian Al-Quran. It also includes core Islamic subjects and business communication, plus applied multimedia and graphic design foundations.

The program lasts 6 semesters (2 years) and includes courses such as Basic Applied Multimedia and Basic Graphic Design, alongside Islamic economics, fiqh topics, and governance of Islamic financial management. It also includes corporate finance and strategic management subjects, and a Kertas Projek (project paper). The training aims to build social skills such as communication, teamwork, and leadership aligned with Islamic values, and it includes exposure to integrating digital and numeric skills in personal development, management, and entrepreneurship in organizations.

The minimum requirements for admission in Diploma Pengurusan Institusi Sosial Islam at International Islamic College of Penang for all applicants (Domestic or International) are:

• program specific academic requirment set by International Islamic College of Penang.
• English Language OR any other language requirments as set by International Islamic College of Penang as pre-requiste for admission in Diploma Pengurusan Institusi Sosial Islam.

Admission requires at least one of the following:

• SPM with at least kepujian in THREE subjects; or
• UEC with at least Gred B in THREE subjects; or
• O-Level with at least Gred C in THREE subjects; or
• SKM Tahap 3 in a related field; or
• Sijil (Tahap 3, MQF) in a related field with at least PNGK 2.00; or
• Pass STPM with at least Gred C (PNG 2.0) in any subject; or
• Pass STAM with at least Gred Maqbul; or
• APEL (A) qualification for entry to Diploma level; or
• Other equivalent qualifications recognized by the Malaysian Government.
