Chemistry
Introduction
Chemistry is a Bachelor program taught at Bennington College, USA. Intake: Fall, Spring. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time (4 years) options.
The Chemistry major at Bennington College centers on a sequence of four courses that integrate general chemistry and organic chemistry. Students also work on special topics outside those two areas, using readings from primary literature, writing components related to articles and lab work, and discussion-based class sessions.
Students work closely with faculty to design the content, structure, and sequence of their study and practice through their Plan, using resources inside and outside the classroom. After completing the four-course sequence, many students continue with Biochemistry, which emphasizes student research projects and includes faculty supervision of independent research tutorials and thesis work.
