About this program

Laurea University of Applied Sciences’ Master of Beauty and Cosmetics is a degree in the development and management of cosmetics expertise. It is designed for people who want to become forward-thinking innovators in the cosmetics and beauty care industry and who are interested in sustainable development in cosmetics manufacturing and marketing.

The programme is 90 ECTS credits. Laurea delivers it through blended teaching and online teaching. The online format includes self-paced study and two to three contact days. Each study unit includes teaching days, independent study, virtual study and applied development tasks in small groups. The Cosmetic Product Project course takes place at Tikkurila Campus, Vantaa.

Laurea says the degree is recognised by the industry as expertise in cosmetics. It leads to work in product development, supervisory roles and more demanding teaching positions.
