The Bachelor of Business Administration at Oulu University of Applied Sciences covers international business operations. It includes marketing and sales, accounting and finance, human resource management, international trade, digital business, project management, logistics, supply chain management, data analysis, business law, and economics. The programme also develops communication, intercultural teamwork, and language skills.
The degree is 210 ECTS credits and is completed in 3.5 years. In the first year, students build a foundation in key areas of business. In the second and third years, they deepen their knowledge, especially in marketing, sales, and international trade. The programme includes free-choice studies, practical training, and a thesis done as a commission for a company or another organisation. Students can also include a student exchange period abroad or complete practical training abroad. Projects, assignments, the thesis, and practical training are carried out with companies.
The programme is designed to meet the needs of globally oriented companies. Oulu University of Applied Sciences says international students study a wide range of Finnish language courses to support integration into Finnish working life and society.
