The Bachelor of Esports Business at Kajaani University of Applied Sciences leads to a Bachelor of Business Administration. It focuses on esports business, event management and marketing. The programme also covers esports ecosystems, business strategy, media production, and team leadership and coaching.

The degree takes 3 years 6 months and is taught as contact teaching on campus. The studies are divided into basic studies, professional studies, free choice studies, a bachelor’s thesis and 30 ECTS of practical training. Students can complete part of the studies abroad, and the programme is taught fully in English.

The first year builds basic business competence, the esports industry and communication skills. Later studies focus on international business, management and marketing strategies for esports. The final stages centre on practical training and the bachelor’s thesis. Foreign students also study Finnish language as part of the degree.
