Engineering Manager MSc

The Engineering Manager MSc at Budapest University of Technology and Economics combines engineering and management. Students study natural sciences, quantitative methods, management and economics, decision support systems, applied science and technology, and a specialization chosen through two courses. The curriculum also includes management and social sciences such as corporate law and research methodology in economics.

The programme runs for 4 semesters and totals 120 ECTS. It includes an internship lasting 4 weeks and a thesis worth 30 credits. Teaching integrates engineering and management to prepare students to solve complex technological and business challenges in diverse organisations.

Applicants will have to take an online entrance examination, consisting of two parts. First, they need to take an online test. In case they pass the test successfully, they have to take part in an online motivational interview. During the interview applicants are expected to give an account of their professional interests, skills and training, and also to explain their motivation for joining the programme.
