Master in Smart Systems Integrated Solutions

The Joint International Master in Smart Systems Integrated Solutions is a joint programme delivered by three universities. Smart systems combine data processing with multi-modal sensing, actuation, and communication functions. Students study a balanced mix of engineering and socio-economic courses, including system level design, multiphysics modeling, life cycle assessment, reliability, and engineering practice through clean room work and advanced microstructure analysis.

The programme lasts 4 semesters and totals 120 ECTS. Students spend a semester at each partner institution: University of South-Eastern Norway, Aalto University, and BME. The first three semesters include taught courses with extensive laboratory and project work. The fourth semester is a master thesis project that can be carried out anywhere in Europe at industrial or academic partners.

• You can start the application to SSIs in the application website in January.
