The Bachelor of Arts (Theatre Arts) curriculum emphasizes intellectual practices through practice-based research and performance-led research activities. It includes critical examinations of theatre and performance as socio-cultural ways to understand the self, society, and culture. Students follow five areas of specialization: theatre and performance studies, performance, dramaturgy and directing, theatre management, and technical theatre and design.

All students complete 33 units of GE courses, 54 units of core or foundational courses, 6 units of foreign language electives, 6 units of theatre electives, 12 units of non-theatre electives, and 3 units of a legislated course. The program also requires NSTP (6 units) and PE (8 units).
