Bachelor of Arts Speech Communication

The Bachelor of Arts (Speech Communication) at the University of the Philippines Diliman develops knowledge and competence in understanding human interaction and how verbal and nonverbal symbols affect different communicative phenomena. Students choose between two tracks: Rhetoric & Performance Studies and Interpersonal & Instructional Communication.

Graduates are expected to demonstrate scholarship, critical thinking, creative expression, social responsiveness, and ethics. The program prepares students for professional settings that include education and training, public relations, government institutions, non-government organizations, and other communication-related industries.
