Diploma in Business Management

The Diploma in Business Management at Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology (SLIT) is designed to be transferable beyond one disciplinary context and to focus on overall development. The programme aims to help candidates build skills and competencies for promotion in their current work, exploring a new career path, or beginning their own business. It includes study units at SQLF Level 03.

Students study through an online delivery method. The total duration is 288 Hours. Assessment uses exams, assignments, and a business project. The course includes Business Analytics, HR Essentials for Managers, Managing Personal and Professional Development, Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development, Crisis Management, and Business Project.

The programme is for school leavers and professionals in industry seeking a higher education qualification. Entry requires completion of a SLIT Certificate in Business Management, or a passed GCE Advanced Level, or an equivalent qualification, plus an English requirement.
