The Master in Life Sciences Bioanalytics at FHNW is a Master of Science in Life Sciences with a Bioanalytics specialisation. It focuses on biomarker analytics, using advanced proteomics, genomics, molecular biology, microbiology, and in vitro diagnostics methods, and on diagnostic procedures for laboratory or clinical use. You also study scientific project methodology and data analysis and visualisation for complex biological data.
The programme offers full-time study in 3 semesters or part-time/work-study in 6 semesters, with an 8-month thesis. The learning mode is onsite and online, and the thesis can be completed at industrial partners, hospitals, or international research institutes in Switzerland or abroad. International options include a double degree at a partner university or completing the Master’s thesis abroad.
