The Master of Science in Life Sciences (Environmental Technologies) prepares you for work in industry, research, and consulting. It focuses on environmental risk assessment, protection of water resources, economy and ecology, resource efficiency, environmental process technology, waste management and technologies, and environmental remediation. You also study practical training linked to research laboratories and pilot plants in the university’s Process Technology Center (PTC).
The programme combines scientific training with practical application in industrial contexts. You must complete 50 ECTS credits (17 modules worth 3 ECTS credits each), plus a master’s thesis. The thesis takes eight months and is undertaken with an industry partner, or at a university or research institute. You can choose electives from other specialisations to design your curriculum.
