Master in Life Sciences Organische Und Supramolekulare Chemie

The Master in Life Sciences focused on Organische und Supramolekulare Chemie leads to a Master of Science in Life Sciences. Students study modern organic chemistry topics such as Mehrkomponentenreaktionen, Photochemie, Elektrochemie, Fliesschemie, and (Bio-)Katalyse. The programme also includes molecule and synthesis design, covering complex molecules such as Arzneimittel, Agrochemikalien, Polymere, and Biomoleküle.

Learning combines remote and in-person settings. The programme uses a part-time (career-accompanied) or full-time study mode, and it offers a custom study plan that combines core modules in Organische Chemie and Supramolekulare Chemie with elective subjects from Analytische Chemie, Biotechnologie, Pharmatechnologie, Chemieingenieurwesen, and other areas. The master thesis is an eight-month project done with an industry partner or a partner university.
