Diploma in Animal Production and Extension

The Diploma in Animal Production and Extension at Ndejje University focuses on agriculture study through modules including Introduction to Agriculture, Basic Crop Production, Animal Husbandry, and Soil Science. The course also includes Database Systems, Business Process Modeling, Web-Based Information Systems, Systems Analysis and Design, Research Methods, and Business Ethics.

Learning includes an Internship / Field Attachment and Project Work. The course award is a Diploma, delivered in a Day/Weekend study mode. The campus is Kampala/Main, with a duration of 2 years. Intake is January/August.

Entry Requirements – Certificate in Agriculture

• Direct Entry: Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) with at least 5 passes
• Direct Entry: Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) with 1 principal pass in a relevant subject.
• Diploma Entry: Relevant diploma in ICT or related field (Upper Second or Credit), recognized by NCHE
• Mature Age Entry: A minimum score of 50% in a recognized Mature Age Entry Examination
• International Applicants: Secondary school completion equivalent to Uganda’s A-Level
• International Applicants: Academic documents must be equated where necessary
• International Applicants: Proof of English proficiency if prior education was not in English
