Zaragoza Logistics Center Spanish Citizen Scholarships in Spain 2016
Zaragoza Logistics Center is awarding scholarship for Spanish students for class 2016. This scholarship is awarded for pursuing Master of Engineering in Logistics & Supply Chain Management (ZLOG) program. Scholarship covers 25% reduction in tuition for the ZLOG program, which currently amounts to €24,000. Candidates will be expected to show extraordinary potential for leadership and professional success, bringing new vision and commitment to the area of Logistics and Supply Chain Management. The application deadline is June 30th 2015.

Eligibility: Scholarships are awarded only to students who have been admitted to the MIT-Zaragoza Master of Engineering in Logistics & Supply Chain Management (ZLOG) program through the Foundation’s regular admissions procedure. Candidates will be expected to show extraordinary potential for leadership and professional success, bringing new vision and commitment to the area of Logistics and Supply Chain Management. Furthermore, to be eligible, candidates must comply with the following criteria:
-Granted admission to the MIT-Zaragoza Master of Engineering in Logistics & Supply Chain Management (ZLOG) program.
-Spanish citizenship.
-Fluency in English, competitive IELTS or TOEFL score. Exceptions may be granted to individuals who have demonstrated evidence of advanced verbal and written proficiency in the English language.
-Completion of a four year undergraduate program equivalent to a Bachelor’s Degree.
-Competitive GRE or GMAT score. Exceptions may be granted to individuals who have demonstrated strong academic achievement in completing a college degree – including some quantitative training – and evidence of advanced verbal and written proficiency in the English language.
-Professional excellence in Logistics/Supply Chain Management or exceptional academic achievement.

- Zaragoza Logistics Center (ZLC) currently provides a number of scholarships each year for students of the MIT-Zaragoza Master of Engineering in Logistics & Supply Chain Management (ZLOG) program. While the ZLOG Program attracts people from around the world to learn and interact at the ZLC and MIT, the Foundation through these scholarships hopes to attract outstanding future leaders from Spain who want to pursue a career in logistics. ZLC thereby provides a unique opportunity for Spanish citizens to develop the skills necessary to lead the growth of the logistic sector in Spain.
- ZLC will award only one scholarship.
- ZLC will award one scholarship to a Spanish citizen consisting of 25% reduction in tuition for the ZLOG program, which currently amounts to €24,000. The scholarship will not include other costs such as living or travel expenses to Zaragoza or to Boston for the international exchange.
- Competition for the ZLOG scholarships is intense and highly competitive. The candidates will be chosen on the basis of:
-Preference will be given to candidates with background or work experience in Logistics and Supply Chain Management. (30%)
-Ability to make a significant contribution to the discipline of Logistics and Supply Chain Management, with a strong aptitude for analysis and a creative approach to defining and solving problems. (10%) Enthusiastic pursuit of self-improvement and a desire to be at the forefront in the creation and discovery of new knowledge. (20%)
-Academic merit as according to academic records (20%)
-Experience and interest in working in multicultural teams according to the applicant’s resume.(20%) - Applicants will be notified by e-mail of the outcome and furthermore the scholarship holder will receive an award letter.
How to Apply: All interested applicants should apply directly through the ZLC Financial Aid Office. Candidates must submit one original copy of the following documents:
-Application form: Each scholarship applicant will fill out the scholarship application form including the following: an essay stating their interests, qualifications, and related experience; a statement describing their economical situation and explaining their reasons for applying for the scholarship.
-Income Statement: Copy of the current employment contact, the most recent pay slip or other official document that can account for the last salary received. (Not applicable for applicants who are currently full-time students).
-Copy of Passport
-Resume
-Admissions Letter: Copy of the admissions letter to the MIT-Zaragoza Master of Engineering in Logistics & Supply
