Bachelor of Commerce Hons Degree in Financial Intelligence 3 Years Block Release

The Bachelor of Commerce (Hons) Degree in Financial Intelligence focuses on financial accounting, business law, corporate finance, auditing, research methods, and intelligence-focused modules such as National Security Analysis, Commercial Crime, Commercial Espionage, Money Laundering, and Criminal Intelligence Analysis. It also includes Money Laundering, Strategic Intelligence, Cyber Technology, Business Intelligence, and an Ethics in Intelligence component, alongside supporting economics and business modules.

The programme is organised into Part 1, Part 2, and Part 3, and runs for 3 years through block release. Students study modules such as Financial Accounting 1A and Business Law in Part 1, Auditing Principles and Procedures 1–2 and Corporate Finance in Part 2, and Risk Management, Corporate Governance, and Money Laundering-related modules in Part 3. It includes “Industrial Attachment 2” and a “Research Project” module.

Entry Requirements: All applicants have to meet the following minimum requirements for admission prescribed under the general regulations (i.e.):

• Have obtained at least 5 O’ level subject at Grade (C) or better including English Language and Mathematics;
• In addition, have obtained two (2) passes at A’ level in any two of the following subjects: – History, Literature in English, Geography, Accounts, Economics, Business Studies or Management of Business.
• Have at least 2 years working experience in the relevant field and proof of employment.
• NB: Special or mature entry admissions shall be in accordance with the general regulations.
