Bachelor of Commerce Hons Degree in Financial Intelligence 4 Years Conventional

The Bachelor of Commerce (Hons) Degree in Financial Intelligence is a four-year conventional program at Bindura University of Science Education. Students study financial accounting, business law, business administration, quantitative analysis for business, business communication, company law, and economics principles. The curriculum also includes auditing, corporate finance, taxation, research methods, and public finance.

Later parts of the program focus on national security analysis, commercial crime, logic, international criminal organizations, bank management, and corporate and business intelligence topics. A dedicated research project and an industrial attachment are included. The course includes modules such as Money Laundering, Criminal Intelligence Analysis, Strategic Intelligence, Global Banking Supervision, and Cyber Technology.

The program is designed to equip graduates with critical and analytical skills to support employment or promotion within their areas of specialty at their work places.

Entry Requirements: All applicants have to meet the following minimum requirements for admission prescribed under the general regulations (i.e):

• Have obtained at least 5 O’ level subject at Grade (C) or better including English Language and Mathematics;
• In addition, have obtained two (2) passes at A’ level in any two of the following subjects: – History, Literature in English, Geography, Accounts, Economics, Business Studies or Management of Business.

• Employed or promoted in their areas of specialty at their work places
