Bachelor of Science Education Honours Degree in Computer Science Hbsced Csc 4 Years

The Bachelor of Science Education Honours Degree in Computer Science (HBScEd-CSc) equips students with knowledge, skills, competences, and practices that underpin Computer Science and Computer Science Education. It supports both vertical and horizontal progression and lifelong learning in Computer Science Education and related fields.

The programme is organised into Part I courses, Part II courses, Part III courses, and Part IV courses. It includes teaching practice and a project, with study areas covering computer science, programming, computer architecture, database concepts, software engineering, networking, and education-focused modules such as pedagogics, research methods, and pre-practicum for computer science teachers.

Normal Entry: For admission to this undergraduate programme, a prospective student must satisfy the Entry Regulations specified in the General Regulations and must have:

• Have 5 passes at O-Level including English Language and Mathematics or their equivalents.
• A Pass in A- Level Computer Science/Mathematics and any other A’Level subject or their equivalents.

Mature Entry: Candidates older than 25 years can be admitted if they have 5 O’levels including Mathematics and English and a Science subject and must satisfy a panel selected by faculty.
