Bachelor of Science Honours Degree in Electronic Engineering Hbscee

The Bachelor of Science Honours Degree in Electronic Engineering (HBScEE) is an electronics-focused engineering programme. It covers analysis and design for microelectronics and applications, and it includes study across areas such as computers, communications, power, and control. Students also take engineering mathematics and science courses and BUSE university wide courses.

The programme runs over five years, with two semesters each year, and students take a minimum of ten courses in each academic year during Part I, II, III, and V. Each taught course is assessed using a three-hour final examination and course work, with course work counting for 30% and the final examination for 70%. In Part IV, students complete Industrial Attachment, and they may submit a dissertation for the Research Project and present a seminar or attend an oral examination.

To be eligible for admission a candidate must have:

At least 5 ‘O’ Levels including Mathematics, Physical Science and English Language

AND

5.2 Two (2) ‘A’ Level passes in Mathematics, Physics and a third relevant Science subject

OR

Higher National Diploma (HND) in either Electronic Engineering, Computer Science or Electric Power Engineering and Control & Instrumentation and other relevant HEXCO.

Registration shall normally take place at a specified time determined by the Bindura University of Science Education in accordance with General Regulations.
