This Pre-service Bachelor of Science Education Honours Degree in Biological Sciences is a full-time programme at Bindura University of Science Education. It combines biological sciences modules with education-focused modules such as Curriculum Design, Implementation & Evaluation, Research Methods and Statistics, and Citizenship Education.
The programme is organised into Part I, Part II, and Part III. Part I covers biology topics including Diversity of Life I and II, Entomology & Parasitology, Plant Physiology, Invertebrate Biology, Virology & Immunology, and Vertebrate Biology. Part II adds advanced pedagics, History & Philosophy of Science, Educational Management, and applied science education, alongside biology modules such as Ecology, General Microbiology, Biotechnology, and Applied Ecology.
Part II also includes Lab Based Research Project and a final project option in Part III through BZ370 or PC370 Project.
