The Bachelor of Science Honours Degree in Network Engineering at Bindura University of Science Education helps students develop analytical and problem-solving skills for real-world computer networking scenarios. Students build capabilities independently and in teams using a practical, systematic approach, focused on computer networking, wireless and advanced network technologies, artificial intelligence design, data communications, mobile computing, and multimedia technologies.
The degree runs over four years of full-time study, with two semesters per year. Taught courses cover the first two years and the final year, while the third academic year is reserved for Industrial Attachment. Students also complete final research projects in Network Engineering, plus modules such as Network Planning and Design, Networking Protocols, Virtualisation and Cloud Computing, and Wireless Networks and Mobile Computing.
