Ampere Excellence Scholarships for International Students Overview

The ENS de Lyon’s Ampere Scholarships of Excellence are fully financed master’s scholarships available to overseas students who wish to enrol in one of the approved master’s programmes. The monthly award for this scholarship is €1,000.

Excellent overseas students may apply for scholarships from the ENS de Lyon and its partners to register in their master’s programmes in the exact sciences, the arts, humanities, and social sciences, with the exception of FEADép Master’s programmes.

Excellent international candidates can enrol in one of the approved Masters programmes offered at ENS de Lyon thanks to the Ampère Scholarships of Excellence.

Excellence with Ampère Scholarships

The Ampere Scholarships of Excellence, offered by ENS de Lyon, are your pathway to pursuing a Master’s degree in France with outstanding financial support.

Ampere Excellence Scholarships Coverage:

• About 20 scholarships awarded annually.
• Eligible Master’s Programs: All Master’s programs in Exact Sciences, Arts, and Human and Social Sciences (except FEADéP Master’s programs). Please consult the Ampère scholarship rules document for specific details.
• Financial Support: Each recipient receives €1,000 per month for one academic year, with the possibility of renewal under certain conditions.

Eligibility Criteria for Ampere Excellence Scholarships:

To be eligible for Ampere Excellence Scholarships, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Language Requirement: Proficiency in English.
• Eligible Countries: Open to applicants from all countries worldwide.
• Age Limit: Candidates must be foreign nationals born after January 1st, 1997, with a maximum age of 26 years.
• Master’s Year 1: Candidates applying for admission in Master’s Year 1 must provide proof of having obtained a Licence (equivalent to 180 ECTS European credits) or an equivalent diploma/level.
• Master’s Year 2: Candidates seeking admission in Master’s Year 2 must provide evidence of successfully completing Master’s Year 1 (equivalent to 240 ECTS European credits) or possessing an equivalent diploma/level.

1. Complete the Online Application Form: Access the online application form by registering via the provided link. Submit your application before the deadline as late submissions will not be considered.
2. Important Note: Ensure you upload all required documents as incomplete applications will not be considered.
3. Application Review: The admission committee at ENS de Lyon will carefully review all applications. Please note that no results will be communicated by phone.
4. Admissions and Enrollment: If your application is accepted, you will receive a letter of pre-enrollment with instructions for the enrollment process.
