Universite Paris-Saclay Scholarships

For international students pursuing a master’s degree, the Universite Paris-Saclay Scholarships are fully financed. The UPSaclay scholarship is worth 10,000 euros each year. Depending on the candidate’s country of origin, up to €1,000 can be given for travel and visa costs.

The Université Paris-Saclay wants to encourage international students’ exposure to master’s (nationally certified) programmes, encourage them to teach in their affiliate institutions, and make it easier for highly qualified foreign students to enrol at the University, particularly those who want to start their own educational venture by pursuing doctoral-level studies.

Scholarships are given to students enrolling in master’s programmes at the Université Paris-Saclay depending on academic excellence.

Universite Paris-Saclay Scholarships Benefits

Eligibility Criteria for Universite Paris-Saclay Scholarships

To be eligible for Universite Paris-Saclay Scholarships, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Language Requirement: Proficiency in English.
• Eligible Countries: Open to students from all countries worldwide.
• Eligible Candidates: Must be admitted to a Université Paris-Saclay Master’s program and affiliated with one of the following administrative enrollment institutions: AgroParisTech, CentraleSupelec, ENS Paris-Saclay, INSTN-CEA, IOGS, UVSQ, UEVE, Paris-Sud University.

Eligible Candidates Include:

1. Newly arrived international students under the age of 30 during the selection year.
2. Foreign nationals living in France for less than a year, who were previously or are currently enrolled in a non-certification training course or internship.
3. Foreign nationals residing in France for less than a year, enrolled in language classes (type FFL).
4. Candidates who previously lived in France during their studies as part of a mobility program (e.g., Erasmus Mundus Joint Master’s Degrees, exchange programs) that did not lead to certification.

Ineligible Candidates for Universite Paris-Saclay Scholarships:

• Those who have been or are currently enrolled in a French higher education institution during their studies, except international students studying at French higher education institutions abroad.
• Individuals with a study interruption of more than two consecutive years.
• Students holding scholarships exceeding €650/month from any other source.

Application Procedure for Universite Paris-Saclay Scholarships

To apply for Universite Paris-Saclay Scholarships, follow these steps:

1. Fill out your application on the university’s platform by creating an account through the provided link.
2. Selected master’s program students will receive an email containing a link to an online application form.
3. Complete the online application form, including the mandatory submission of two references (professors, internship coordinators, etc.).
4. Each reference named by the candidate will receive an email with a link to an online recommendation form, which they must complete and submit before the scholarship call deadline.
5. The candidate will be notified when both references have submitted the form.
6. Ensure both references complete and submit the form by the specified deadline.
7. Incomplete or late applications will not be considered.
