The Hanken Bachelor in Business programme gives a foundation in business and administration. It covers accounting, economics, finance, management and entrepreneurship, and marketing. It also includes mathematics, statistics, business analytics, commercial law, communication and languages, global sustainability, and meta skills for life and work.
The programme lasts five years in total. The bachelor’s part takes three years and the master’s part takes two years. Each academic year has four periods of about eight weeks. The first year follows a set curriculum. From the second year, you choose courses linked to your major. The third year includes a bachelor thesis, and it can also include exchange or an internship.
Hanken says the programme is a route to further study at the university. It also gives an option to pursue a master’s degree at Hanken without a separate application process.
