The Master’s Degree Programme in International Business and Sales Management is a two-year programme in the field of business and administration. It combines teaching and research, and it is taught in English. The programme focuses on international business and sales management, with emphasis on internationalisation, business-to-business sales, and cross-cultural communication and negotiation skills.
The curriculum uses academic research and practical case exercises. Students study advanced-level major studies in International Business and Sales Management, including the master’s thesis and seminar, and other studies such as orientation studies, methodological studies, language and culture studies, and elective courses. Teaching requires attendance on campus.
The University of Eastern Finland says the programme is designed for Finnish and international students with different backgrounds who want to learn how to operate in challenging business environments. It also says the degree gives eligibility for doctoral studies.
